Se restored colonial buildings in The Rocks, Australia's oldest settlement; the Sydney Harbour Bridge; the Botanic Gardens and Mrs. Macquaries Chair (a special seat carved by convicts into the sandstone rock for the first Governor's wife) which has perfect views of the Opera House with the harbour and Harbour Bridge in the background.

Travel through some of Sydeny's exclusive Eastern suburbs - Darling Point, Double Bay, Rose Bay, and Vaucluse - with their magnificent homes and fin harbour views on the way to famous Bondi Beach, a haven for surfers and sun lovers.

Blue Mountains

The Blue Mountains, with its wealth of dense natural bushland, quaint country villages and breathtaking valley views, is a must for any visitor to Sydney. Leave the city travelling toward Richmond and Windsor, both renowned for their wealth of colonial buildings, many of them now carefully restored. Continue to the Hawkesbury Lookout for panoramic views over the coastal plains.

Stop in Katoomba for spectacular vistas of the most startling sandstone formations and valleys for which the Blue Mountains are famous. Visit Echo Point and the Three Sisters - giant sandstone formation of Aboriginal legend. You will have time to explore the township of Leura, nestled in the foothills of the Mountains.

Experience the highly acclaimed destinational movie 'The Edge', presented on an 18 metre high and 24 metre wide screen. 'The Edge' will take you to parts of the Blue Mountains National Park never seen before by visitors to the region. Learn of the Wollemi Pines, believed to the the world's oldest living trees, only discovered by scientists in 1994. Today only 40 trees exist and they can't be seen anywhere else on the planet.

The tour includes an Aussie Bushmans BBQ served against views of the bush.

These tours, designed by Tours Hosts Pty Limited, art for participating delegates and additional persons. Sightseeing tours include the services of a guide, all entry fees and lunches on full day tours. Many other tours such as Harbour Cruises will be available at the Tours Desk at the Conference.

Where participants cancel their day tour bookings prior to Monday, 28 September 1998 payment will be refunded in full, thereafter no refunds will be made.

All tours depart from the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, the Conference venue, and it is requested that all participants assemble at the "Tour Departure Point" 10 minutes prior to departure.

All tours are based on a minimum number of participants.

If minimum numbers are not reached, alternative arrangements or a complete refund will be made.
