1998 International Symposium on Spoken Dialogue (ISSD-98)

The 3rd International Symposium on Spoken Dialogue will be held in conjunction with ICSLP'98, from 9:00 to 17:00 on 30 November in Room 3 at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre. The purpose of the Symposium is to facilitate the discussion on the state of the art of spoken dialogue methods and systems among those participants of ICSLP'98 who are interested in the field of spoken dialogue. This is the third one in a series of symposia that has been held since 1993. The first one was held in Tokyo in November 1993, the second one in Philadelphia in October 1996 (as a satellite meeting of ICSLP'96), each time with invited overviews and contributed papers.

 

The program of ISSD-98 will consist of the following invited tutorials by distinguished researchers in this field, followed by a panel discussion.
