98 Accommodation Accommodation has been reserved for delegate at the hotels listed below. Please note that the rates quoted are a room only rate per night. Please Note: Rates may increase without notice due to changes in Government Charges, taxes or levies. Delegates will be required to pay any difference upon checkout. Terminology "Double" (DBL) refers to a room with one double bed. "Twin" (TWN) refers to a room with two beds. "Single" (SGL) refers to a single occupancy room. Accommodation rates are room only and do not include breakfast unless otherwise specified. Rates Accommodation held by the ICSLP '98 Secretariat has been secured at advantageous rates for Conference delegates. Only bookings made throughout the Secretariat will secure these rates. Deposit Hotel accommodation bookings must be accompanied by a fist night's deposit in order to secure your reservation. Your deposit will be passed on to the hotel. Delegates must settle the balance of their account with the hotel concerned on check out. Deposits for accommodation will not be accepted by the Secretariat after 13 November 1998. Any money for accommodation received after this time will be refunded to the delegate and payment must be made direct to the hotel. Please note however, that rooms cannot be guaranteed after 31 August 1998. How to Book To make a hotel reservation, please complete Section C of your registration form, giving your first preference as requested. The ICSLP '98 Secretariat will forward your reservation and deposit to the hotel of your choice. Change of Booking Any change to a reservation must be notified to the ICSLP '98 Secretariat and not directly to the hotel. Please note changes will not be accepted by the Secretariat after 13 November 1998. Cancellations must be made in writing to the Secretariat. Late Arrivals Please indicate on your registration form or notify the Secretariat in writing if you will arrive at your hotel after 1800 hours, failure to do so may mean that your room will be released. Refunds The deposit is non-refundable after 13 November 1998 and will be forfeited if you do not arrive on the date for which you have booked. Arrival Time Many international flights arrive in Australia in the early morning. Hotel check-in time is 1500hrs. If you are to arrive before this time it is probable that you will not be able to gain access to your room, however, most hotels will hold your luggage until your room becomes available. To guarantee a room to be available for an early arrival, you will need to pre-register your room for the night before. If required please indicate on your registration form. |
